The Creative Design department does all graphic design, layout and type-setting work utilizing state-of the art computers and application for optimum performance and quality. Professional art directors, graphic designers and graphic artists make up the dynamic team leading this department. Utilizing both PC and Power Macintosh workstations, coupled with the latest in printing technology from software to hardware, this team is able to meet any desktop publishing (DTP) design requirement set by clients and customers.

All colour separation work is done in-house. At the pre-press station, design work, photo-setting and layout can be carried right through to the film stage. For specialized jobs, films can also be lifted off page make-up at the camera unit. The film assembly is then prepared to process both line colour separation and half-tone colour separation which will thus produce a set of proofs for clients to preview. PNMB is one of the few printing houses which is capable to handle full colour separation services such as this.

Film positives and negatives from both the pre-press station can be sent to the plate assembly where an automated plate processor develops various sets of plates for printing.
