PNMB has been entrusted by the Government of Malaysia as the official government printer responsible for ensuring that Government Gazettes are published according to the scheduled release dates without fail, and delivered in compliance with the prescribed specifications. The printed copies of Gazettes issued by PNMB are deemed legally valid for use in legal proceedings, as provided under Section 61 of the Interpretation Acts 1948 and 1967.
The Gazette is published to validate and formalise actions taken by the Government. It enables the public to access important information and understand their rights through the official notices conveyed.
